Join us on Tuesday, November 15th for Kinship Care: Supporting Families through Collaboration. Learn about how to support kinship families through strategic partnerships, coordination and through resources available in Illinois. This virtual seminar will feature Keynote Speakers, Arcelia Armstrong, LSW and Marsha Rose, LSW, with the Kinship Navigator Program for the Area Office on Aging of Northwester Ohio.

The second part of the seminar will feature a panel including representatives from the Illinois Department on Aging, Representative Manley’s office, Senior Services of Will County, DCFS, Prairie State Legal Services, and Family Resource Center.

CEUs will be offered for attending this seminar through the Illinois Department on Aging. There is no cost to the professional seeking the continuing education hours. Complimentary Continuing Education (CEs) are Sponsored by the Illinois Department on Aging for the following: Nursing Home Administrators, Licensed Social/Clinical Social Workers, Clinical / Professional Counselor and Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Professional Nurse.
