WEST CHICAGO, Ill. – The Board of Directors of the Agency on Aging of Northeastern Illinois has appointed Paula Yensen to the Agency’s Advisory Council as a McHenry County representative. Paula will fill a vacant position and serve a three-year term.
Ms. Yensen is a retired Executive Director of the United Way of Central Kane County. Currently, she is a member of the McHenry County Board, Chair of the Senior Services Grants Commission, Vice-Chair of the Public Health and Community Services and Liaison for the McHenry County Mental Health Board. She is also President of the Lake in the Hills Rotary Club and the Fox West Philanthropy Network.
“The Agency on Aging Northeastern Illinois is pleased to welcome Paula to the Advisory Council” said Marla Fronczak, Executive Director for the Agency on Aging Northeastern Illinois. “We believe her unique skill set and wide range of non-profit experience will be a great asset to the Agency.”
The Agency on Aging of Northeastern Illinois is a nonprofit organization responsible for developing and coordinating a network of services for older persons throughout an eight county area in northeastern Illinois. The Agency informs and advises public and private agencies and the general public of the needs of older persons living in the area, and acts as an advocate on their behalf. The agency serves DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and Will counties.
