Funding Opportunity Notice
Northeastern Illinois Area Agency on Aging is soliciting Letters of Interest from non-profit and local government organizations qualified to receive Federal/State financial assistance grant funding to provide services for older adults (age 60+) as authorized under the Older Americans Act of 1965 (Public Law 89-73) in our eight (8) county planning and service area consisting of DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and Will counties. The funding period is October 1, 2019 – September 30, 2020.
Fundable Services:
- Counseling (IIIB)
- Community Connection Collaboratives (IIIB: Education, Health Screening & Evaluation, Recreation: Note: CCC funding is a bundled service)
- Legal (IIIB)
- Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (IIID)
Service providers must adhere to General Service Requirements and Service Standards.

Successful applicants must comply with all pre-qualification requirements including, but limited to, current DUNS and SAM numbers, acceptable fiscal management/stability (including the ability to meet matching requirements), be in good standing with the Secretary of State and not be on any Federal or State Debarred, Suspended, Stop Payment or Excluded Parties listings
