Lombard, IL – AgeGuide, the Area Agency on Aging for Northeastern Illinois, is pleased to announce it is soliciting applications from non-profit and local government organizations qualified to receive Federal/State of Illinois financial assistance grants for Title IIIE Caregiver Support Services in Will County. These funds provide services for older adults (age 60+) as authorized under the Older Americans Act in the 8-county region. The funding period follows the federal fiscal year from October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027, with an option to extend for an additional 1 year.

Fundable Services in Will County:

  • Title IIIE Caregiver Resource Center
  • Title IIIE Caregiver Counseling Center

The service provider must adhere to the AgeGuide General Service Requirements in addition to service-specific requirements. For further information about grant requirements and the application process, visit www.ageguide.org/rfp.

“Caregiver services provide critical support to family caregivers, helping them care for their loved ones while also prioritizing their own health and well-being” said Marla Fronczak, CEO of AgeGuide. “Through these funding opportunities, we are seeking strong community partners who can provide essential resources, counseling, and support to caregivers in Will County. Together, we can strengthen the network of services that helps both caregivers and older adults thrive.”

Successful applicants must comply with all applicable pre-qualification requirements. These include, but are not limited to: active registration in the federal System for Award Management (SAM) and provision of Unique Entity Identifier, demonstrate acceptable fiscal management/stability (including the ability to meet matching requirements), and show evidence of good standing with the Secretary of State with no Debarred/Suspended/Stop Payment/Excluded parties listings. For-profit entities are not eligible to apply, and services must be offered at no cost to participants.

Applications will be available through an electronic grant portal beginning June 10, 2026 and will be due no later than July 15, 2026.
