Lombard, IL – AgeGuide, the Area Agency on Aging for Northeastern Illinois, is announcing a new partnership with SHOW BUS to offer Older Americans Act transportation services in Kankakee County, effective October 8, 2021.
SHOW BUS has been providing public transportation services to residents of central Illinois since 1979 and has been the Public Transportation Provider for rural Kankakee County since 1999. AgeGuide is excited to partner with SHOW BUS to expand transportation options for older adults residing in the non-urban areas of Kankakee County.
Older adults will be able to use SHOW BUS transportation services for rides to medical appointments, shopping, errands, social engagements, and more. All vehicles are fully accessible with lifts for easy wheelchair access.

We know this new partnership will make a positive impact on older adults in rural Kankakee County.”
