Lombard, IL – The Board of Directors of AgeGuide Northeastern Illinois appointed Mary McCann to the Agency’s Advisory Council as a McHenry County representative. Mary will serve a three-year term.
Mary has been a McHenry County resident for over 22 years. She is currently retired and has experience serving on the McHenry County Board for 14 years as an elected official.
“AgeGuide is excited to welcome Mary to the Advisory Council,” said Marla Fronczak, Chief Executive Officer for AgeGuide. “Her experience and understanding of older adults in McHenry County will prove beneficial in this new role with AgeGuide.”
Mary has a wide variety of professional experience that will be valuable to the AgeGuide Advisory Council. Mary was previously a contractor with engineering firms, state government and associations in the field of project management. She also has experience in grants management, most recently working with the Senior Services Grants Commission.
AgeGuide Northeastern Illinois is a nonprofit organization responsible for developing and coordinating a network of services for older adults throughout the eight-county region. AgeGuide informs and advises public and private agencies and the public of the needs of older residents, and acts as an advocate on their behalf. AgeGuide serves DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and Will counties.
