Lombard, IL – The Board of Directors of AgeGuide Northeastern Illinois has elected Gregory Barry to the Agency’s Board for a three-year term as a McHenry County representative.

Mr. Barry is an attorney practicing primarily in the areas of elder law, estate planning and probate/trust administration. He is the Public Guardian and Public Administrator for McHenry County.  His connections to the community and the complex system of organizations that comprises the aging network in McHenry County will be a valuable addition to the AgeGuide Board of Directors.

“AgeGuide is pleased to welcome Gregory to the Board of Directors,” said Marla Fronczak, Chief Executive Officer for AgeGuide. “His connections within the community in McHenry County and knowledge of the aging network and aging issues will help our Board and staff as we plan programs for the years to come.”

Mr. Barry will be an asset to AgeGuide in McHenry County as the boots on the ground advocating for older adults. He currently lives in McHenry County with his wife and young kids.

AgeGuide Northeastern Illinois, an Area Agency on Aging, is a nonprofit organization responsible for developing and coordinating a network of services for older persons throughout an eight-county area in northeastern Illinois. AgeGuide informs and advises public and private agencies and the general public of the needs of older persons living in the area, and acts as an advocate on their behalf. The Agency serves DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and Will Counties.
