Lombard, IL – The Board of Directors of AgeGuide Northeastern Illinois elected Ken Maurice to the Board as a Kane County representative. He will serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors.

Mr. Maurice is the Coordinator of Human Resources for Aurora Township and previously

worked for over 10 years in the City of Aurora’s Community Services Department’s Youth & Senior Services Division. Prior to his work at the City, he was a Guidance Counselor in Aurora East School District 131.

“AgeGuide is pleased to welcome Ken to the Board of Directors,” said Marla Fronczak, Chief Executive Officer for AgeGuide. “Ken has spent most of his career in service to the older adults in Kane County and the City of Aurora. We look forward to having Ken’s knowledge, expertise, and perspective on our Board of Directors.”

Ken most recently served on the Senior Services Associates, Inc. Board of Directors, and the local Aurora Office Advisory Board Chair. In past years he participated with the Southeast Kane County TRIAD, the Board of the Aurora Citizens for Neighborhood Improvement, Alden at Waterford Aurora Senior Community Committee, and Aurora University’s Institute for Collaboration, Active Seniors Committee.

Ken holds a Master of Science Degree in Human Services and Counseling from National Louis University. AgeGuide believes his knowledge of the needs of older adults and his experience in senior services will be a great asset to the Board of Directors.
