Lombard, IL – The Board of Directors of AgeGuide Northeastern Illinois has elected Paula Yensen, of Lake in the Hills, to the Board as a McHenry County representative. She has served on the Agency’s Advisory Council since 2018, and will now begin a three-year term on the Board. Ms. Yensen is a retired Executive Director of the United Way of Central Kane County.

“AgeGuide is pleased to welcome Paula to the Board of Directors,” said Marla Fronczak, Chief Executive Officer for AgeGuide. “Her connection to the McHenry County community proved to be a great asset to the Advisory Council, and we look forward to having her knowledge and expertise on our Board of Directors.”

Ms. Yensen is currently a member of the McHenry County Board, Chair of the Senior Services Grants Commission, Vice-Chair of the Public Health and Community Services Committee, and Liaison for the McHenry County Mental Health Board. She is also President of the Lake in the Hills Rotary Club and the Fox West Philanthropy Network. AgeGuide believes her unique skill set and wide range of non-profit experience will be a great asset to the Board of Directors.

AgeGuide Northeastern Illinois, an Area Agency on Aging, is a nonprofit organization responsible for developing and coordinating a network of services for older persons throughout an eight-county area in northeastern Illinois. AgeGuide informs and advises public and private agencies and the general public of the needs of older persons living in the area, and acts as an advocate on their behalf.
