WEST CHICAGO, Ill. – The Board of Directors of the Agency on Aging of Northeastern Illinois has appointed Bonnie Schradel to the Agency’s Advisory Council as a DuPage County representative. Bonnie will fill a vacant position and serve a three-year term.
Ms. Schradel is currently a paralegal at Huck Bouma Law Firm but has an extensive background in the Aging Network. She worked in a long term care facility in high school, worked at Senior Services Associates for almost 10 years and then worked at Law Elder Law before her current position. Bonnie has a vast knowledge of Medicaid and is a member of the Naperville/Lisle TRIAD.
“The Agency on Aging Northeastern Illinois is thrilled to welcome Bonnie to the Advisory Council” said Marla Fronczak, Executive Director for the Agency on Aging Northeastern Illinois. “She comes highly recommended by Raeann Van Gundy, First Vice Chairman of the Advisory Council and her knowledge of the Aging Network and dedication to older adults will be a great asset to the Advisory Council.”
The Agency on Aging of Northeastern Illinois is a nonprofit organization responsible for developing and coordinating a network of services for older persons throughout an eight county area in northeastern Illinois. The Agency informs and advises public and private agencies and the general public of the needs of older persons living in the area, and acts as an advocate on their behalf. The agency serves DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and Will counties.
