WEST CHICAGO, Ill. – The Board of Directors of the Agency on Aging of Northeastern Illinois has appointed Lauren Sherman to the Agency’s Advisory Council as a Will County representative. Lauren will fill a vacant position and serve a three-year term.

Ms. Sherman is licensed clinical social worker and President of Lifecare Innovations. In her current role, Lauren oversees multiple clinical product lines and is involved in all areas of the creation and implementation of new products, as well as the financial side of the company. She has expertise working in a variety of healthcare settings, most recently a large care management and guardianship agency. Lauren is a member of both the National and Illinois Guardianship Associations.

“The Agency on Aging Northeastern Illinois is thrilled to welcome Lauren to the Advisory Council” said Marla Fronczak, Executive Director for the Agency on Aging Northeastern Illinois. “Lauren has a passion for helping non-profits grow and improve so we are excited to have her knowledge and leadership on our Advisory Council.”

The Agency on Aging of Northeastern Illinois is a nonprofit organization responsible for developing and coordinating a network of services for older persons throughout an eight county area in northeastern Illinois. The Agency informs and advises public and private agencies and the general public of the needs of older persons living in the area, and acts as an advocate on their behalf. The agency serves DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and Will counties.
