AgeGuide’s Community Agreement
As our organization strives to serve the diverse and evolving needs of older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their families, it is vital that we remain committed to fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment at AgeGuide. This commitment is central to our mission, our values, and the care we aim to provide to each other in our workplace.
Our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Community Agreement outlines guiding principles and shared expectations to help us nurture a workplace culture that values and respects all voices, identities, and experiences. In drafting this agreement, we have worked to reflect the unique perspectives and needs of our team members, ensuring that our agency is a place where everyone feels heard, respected, and empowered to contribute.
AgeGuide’s DEIA Steering Committee
“Empowering communities through accountable and equitable aging services”
The AgeGuide Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Steering Committee envisions a future where accountability, equitable service delivery, and authentic representation are foundational. We commit to using data-informed insights to gain a deeper understanding of and address the needs of the target populations outlined in the Older Americans Act, ensuring no community is overlooked.
We champion representation, valuing diversity among committee members and those we serve. Committed to accountability and equity, we empower individuals to age with dignity, independence, and to access needed resources.
