WEST CHICAGO, Ill. – Join the area’s top chefs in supporting the Agency on Aging Northeastern Illinois’ 27th Annual Celebrity Chefs Brunch benefiting Holiday Meals on Wheels and Aging Services on Sunday, November 4th from 10:45 AM to 3 PM at Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace.

This amazing event, known as a “Party with a Purpose”, emceed by Andy Avalos of NBC 5 Chicago, attracts hundreds of attendees who come to enjoy delectable bites and savory sweets prepared by local chefs, great wine and beer selections, eye-catching silent and live auctions items, and raising money for a worthy cause. This year’s pajama party theme encourages attendees to enjoy the event in the comforts of their favorite pajamas! This is one event your taste buds won’t soon forget!

The Meals on Wheels program delivers nutritionally balanced meals to seniors who are home bound or unable to purchase or prepare meals of their own. This program provides meals for a senior citizen for one year for about the same cost as a one day stay in the hospital! Each year, Celebrity Chefs Brunch benefiting Holiday Meals on Wheels and Aging Services raises money to supplement home delivered meal delivery for weekends and holidays and other aging services provided by our Agency partners. Our Meals on Wheels program works hard to fight hunger and malnutrition in the senior population we serve.

We would like to thank our sponsors, without whom this event would not be possible, for their support of our event and cause. This year’s event is sponsored by Illinicare Health, Denise Izatt & Lois Wisniewski, BKD CPAs & Advisors, Adam & Melissa Schmitz, Mom’s Meals, Oak Street Health and Illinois
Continuity of Care.

Tickets to the Celebrity Chefs Brunch are $125 per person ($100 is tax-deductible), which will purchase more than 27 nutritious meals for at-risk, home bound seniors. For more information on the Celebrity Chefs Brunch benefiting Holiday Meals on Wheels and Aging Services, to make a donation, or purchase tickets by phone, please contact the Agency on Aging Northeastern Illinois at (630) 293-5990.
