Lombard, IL – The Board of Directors of AgeGuide Northeastern Illinois has appointed Ireatha Jones, of Bourbonnais, to the Agency’s Advisory Council for a three-year term as a Kankakee County representative.

Ms. Jones is a Business Development Representative with Cigna and offers significant knowledge in innovative healthcare coordination and extensive experience working with Medicare. Prior to her position with Cigna, Ms. Jones worked for the Illinois Department of Public Health.

“AgeGuide is pleased to welcome Ireatha to the Advisory Council” said Marla Fronczak, Chief Executive Officer for AgeGuide. “Her extensive experience in healthcare for older adults and knowledge of Medicare will be a great asset to AgeGuide and the Advisory Council.”

She is a current member of the South-Southwest Strategic Partnership and a past member of the Southland Ministerial Health Network. She lives in Bourbonnais and is eager to begin her role and learn more about community resources available for older adults so she can improve her clients’ lives.

AgeGuide Northeastern Illinois, an Area Agency on Aging, is a nonprofit organization responsible for developing and coordinating a network of services for older persons throughout an eight-county area in northeastern Illinois.
